In B.Tech, you have to study all the engineering subjects, But if you opt for B.Tech Hons. Then you have to study only one of the engineering subjects in more depth. So, in B.Tech you have to study all the subjects given by colleges. But in B.Tech Hons. You have to study only one subjects which you like the most and you get specialisation only in one subjects. So, according to my opinion, B.Tech Hons. Is the best option, In nowadays there is a very great demand for Hons. Degree. First and foremost, you have to understand that there is no point comparing M.Tech and MBA courses. Both are specialised degrees and have value in their respective grounds. Both M.Tech and MBA provide excellent career options and have gained importance over the time. M.Tech or MBA is always an additional advantage to an engineer whether it is in terms of experience, knowledge or seniority. Dear Neelesh, The best courses after B.Tech in Civil are M.Tech and MBA. I have many friends who have done MBA after Civil engineering as per their interest. However, a few did M.Tech who has a keen interest in the construction field. Being alumni of LPU, I recommend LPU for both MBA and M.Tech. Dear Pooja, First of all, there is no gender discrimination in the field of education and job, in fact, nowadays girls are pursuing Civil and Mechanical engineering. You can choose M.Tech if you want to be a teacher in the future else you can go for a job in the private or public sector. Admissions through lateral entry for Direct Second Year B TECH/B.E. for various courses at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI,Mumbai) are done through Centralized Admission Process that is conducted by State CET Cell, Maharashtra State through its portal https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
For admission in direct second year, the candidate should have passed diploma course in engineering & technology in appropriate branch of engineering with at least 45% marks (For general candidate). So Diploma in Mechanical candidates can not be considered for admission in B.Tech/ B.E CSE.
