Although this question will be asked by the interviewer surely. You need to have a proper justification for your gap. Yes there will be fewer interview calls, fewer opportunities, but you will need to make most of whatever you get. You will need to display all the skills required for the job description you applied for. If possible add some quick skill or a technology to your portfolio. If your B.Tech is from a good college like IITs, BITs, VIT, SRM, Manipal and LPU, it may not be very difficult.
