AMU does not take lateral entries, you have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the university for getting admission.

Yes, you should pursue the degree course now, but since you have already obtained diploma I don't think you need a B.Tech degree and you can apply for masters.

Aligarh Muslim University does not have lateral admissions so it will not be possible for you.

If you want to join the NDA then just an intermediate (10+2) in science is enough (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are must). If you are interested to join as an officer in a combat role (pilot/ground staff) after graduation, then a background and graduation in Science will suffice (even a B.Sc. Is enough). Apart from that, engineers from all fields and specialisations join as officers. If you want to join as an officer in the technical arms, engineers are chosen primarily from Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil and Aeronautical/Aerospace fields. Hi, You are not eligible to take admission in NIT but you are eligible for IIT. Diploma holders are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Tech or B.E. through LEET exam. LEET exam is conducted for Diploma holders who want to get admission in B.E or B.tech courses. This is national level exam. But you can also apply for state level exam. Good Luck.

Hi,
Yes, you can do B.Tech after B.Sc, and you have two options for taking admission in B.Tech colleges first one is on the basis of your performances in B.Sc. And, if you have around 60% marks then you can easily get direct admission. Second option is you can give entrance exam for lateral entry scheme.
