The counselling and admission to MBA (Evening) course at CBSMS was concluded on May 15. The university has not announced more information for MBA 2023 admissions as of now. Aspirants shall first check the eligibility criteria to ensure they fulfil the requirement. Eligible candidates can further submit the application online by visiting the official website of Bangalore University (bangaloreuniversity.ac.in). The university selects candidates for this course based on merit in the Karnataka PGCET entrance test (for CBSMS), followed by a counselling round. The university also accepts KMAT/CAT/MAT/PGCET/CMAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/NMAT scores.

Candidates who wish to get admission to Bangalore University courses should have secured min. 40% to 50% aggregate in Class 12 or the last exam. The required aggregate depends upon the course. Moreover, for courses where admission is entrance-based, a good exam score is required. Bangalore University announces cutoff marks for each course. There are multiple factors affecting the cutoff marks. The main factors that are considered while releasing cutoffs are:

- Total no.of participants
- Total no.of seats available

The application process for Bangalore University is completely online. C&idates willing to take admission must visit the official site of Bangalore University & apply. Mentioned below is the process for the same:
- Visit the official site of the University & click on 'Student's Corner'.
- Now, click on 'Admission' followed by clicking on the desired course level.
- A link to the online application will be available at the end of the page in case the applications are open.
- Register as a new user by adding the required information such as name & contact details.

There is a provision for merit and need-based scholarships at Bangalore University. However, any student can avail only one scholarship or financial benefit at a time. Some of the scholarships offered by Bangalore University include Special Scholarships for Children of Government Employees/University Employees, the Post-Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship of University Grants Commission (UGC) for Single Girl Child and the Honourable Vice Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship, among others.

To take admission in UG courses, students must clear Class 12 from a recognised board. Final selection is made on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the university or merit in Class 12. For PG courses, candidates need to have a valid bachelor's degree in the relevant field from Karnataka University or an equivalent university. It is also imp that the students has passed the qualifying examination with the required aggregate as prescribed by the authorities. Further, the final selection criteria vary from course to course.

The last date for five-year integrated BSc (H) and MSc in Geography and Geoinformatics was May 22. Additionally, for the five-year BA LLB (H) course, the last date to apply was May 26. Moreover, the application end date for BA/BSc/BCom (H) 2023-2024 admission was May 31. Currently, the final merit lists are out for multiple courses. Any student can avail only one scholarship or financial benefit at a time. Student can choose the more beneficial among the available. Those students who are availing the free (Non-paying) University hostel are not eligible for any other free ship, scholarship, either from the University or Government.

A pass in bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates) is required to apply for the MBA course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. Apart from fulfiling the qualifications, candidates also need to pass MAT, CAT, Alliance-MAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, KMAT or GMAT for admission to MBA course followed by Oral Extempore Presentation and personal interview. The school also considers the academic performance of the aspirants for providing admission.
