At Amrita School of Dentistry, the BDS course is 4 years for the course and 1 year for a mandatory internship. Candidates are only issued their degree of BDS course once they complete their mandatory 1 year internship. This makes the total duration for the BDS course at  Amrita School of Dentistry 5 years. Candidates are advised to go and check the official website of Amrita School of Dentistry.

Admission into the BDS programme of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University in Lucknow depends upon the candidate's performance in the UPNEET or NEET (UG) exams with the entrance being merit-based. Candidates must appear for these exams and make their selections for preferred location/institutions during the counselling process, which will determine their selection.
