It depends on your interests and career plan. The options after B.Sc in Biotech would be to do your Master's degree and then do your doctoral studies if you wish to be in the area of Research or a job in academia. Some options are available for getting a job in the area of Production control or Quality Analyst in organizations such as Biocon, You should be really good with your basics on concepts such as Fermentation technology, Bio-remediation etc. However, its worthwhile doing your Masters and your doctoral studies Ph.D. and then trying for a job. B.Sc is the best path if your aim is to make your career in the research or academic field because the course is more focused on pure Biology plus (B.Sc+M.Sc takes 5 years) so in the 6th year, you can join Ph.D. B.Tech is best option if your aim is to get an industrial job because when you go to aqn engineering college most probably the only department with biology involved will be biotech in the entire college and engineering is a mix of different courses, the initial year you will learn (Mech - ECE -Civil, etc.). Scope can be categorised in several ways. So, I am writing in two major sections so that one can use it as per the broad interest.
Employability:
Pharmacy gives better employability as compared to biotech, biochem or microbio. The reason is the huge pharma industry. B.Pharma. Itself give you an okay job while M.Pharma. May give you a reasonably decent job. Pharma sector includes several fields of work from research, development and manufacturing to sales and distribution. M.Sc is a science programme and M.Tech, the technology programme. It is crucial to understand the basic difference between Science and Technology. In India, the case of having Master's degree in science is a bit convenient as it necessitates three years Bachelor's degree, nevertheless, Master's degree programme in technology requires four years Bachelor's degree or two years Master's degree in science. Hi Pradeep,
Generally, the mandatory subjects for applying to biotechnology/bio-engineering course are Biology, Chemistry, Physics/ Zoology. Every college is different and hence their admission criteria also varies. Please confirm the university name in which you want to enrol or you can also check the eligibility criteria of the course on their official website.

The webpage of this college is silent about the number of seat available. But approximately they have 60 seats per course. You can get in touch with the college officials for information on the number of seats available for Bachelor of Biotechnology.
