ELIGIBILITYDuration: 4 yearsCitizenship: Indian nationals. Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates are needed to have attained a Bachelors degree in any of Physics, Biological Sciences, B.A. M. S. BHMS BPT and any other related discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Indian nationals can apply under the General Category, while foreign nationals or Non- Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/ NRI Category. Well for M.Sc Degree at IIT Bombay, you need to give IIT JAM exam. I have given GATE exam (not JAM) for M.Tech, but my guess is that the admission procedure would be similar. Get a rank within top 150, after which are shortlisted for screening test+interview (sometimes only interview). Only after clearing those interview you are admitted. For an IITian the GATE/JAM exam is exempted but you need to clear a minimum GPA limit for this. And yes, maths is compulsory.
