Yes, the exam pattern of GAT B and BET varies. There will be a total of 160 questions in GAT B exam while BET exam will have 200 questions. Applicants have to attempt 60 questions out of 100 in GAT B section B while a total of 50 questions need to be attempted in BET exam section B. The marking schemes for GAT B and BET exam also varies as per the sections.

National Testing Agency will conduct the GAT B 2025 exam in English language only. Candidates are not allowed to change the language of GAT B exam. The exam will not be conducted in regional language. To get verse with the GAT B exam scheme 2025, candidates are advised to practice mock tests. It helps candidates to understand the scheme of the exam and other parameters.

NTA has released the GAT B/BET exam pattern 2025 in the official notification. As per the paper scheme, GAT B exam section A will have 60 questions while section B will have 100 questions. All the questions asked in GAT B section will be compulsory while candidates need to attempt only 60 questions out of 100 in GAT B section B. In the case of BET 2025 paper, section A will have 50 questions while section B comprises 150 questions. Applicants need to attempt all questions in BET section A while only

The National Testing Agency has released the GAT-B 2025 exam dates on the official website. Candidates can find the admission notification covering the application form, correction process, and exam dates. The GAT-B 2025 exam will be conducted on April 20, 2025 online for a duration of three hours. Registrations for the GAT-B exam is available till March 3, 2025. The Delhi Technological University holds entrance test for admission to the M.Tech course in Biotechnology. The eligibility to appear for the entrance test consists of:

  1. Candidate must be GATE qualified.
  2. Candidate must have scored 60% (General),50% (SC/ST), 55% (OBC) or equivalent CGPA in the previous university or college or institute.

Therefore, a candidate must provide his GATE score card before applying to the DTU admission test. The university does not provide any other way for providing admission to any applicant, rather than on the basis of their GATE score.

No, it won't be a problem. You should have obtained at least 50% in the qualifying degree exam. Backlogs will not affect your enrollment for the Entrance examination. I got 6 backlogs in my previous semester (5th semester), and I think I will get 2 or 3 backlogs this semester also.
