Hi Niharika.
The minimum eligibility for applying to biotech is to qualify the +2 exams with min 60% (for general). Also, the admission is based on merit screening. If you fulfil these requirements. You are 99% eligible. Go for it.

Here, I have mentioned some IITs accepting JAM scores and their eligibility criteria. Form. Sc. Candidate must have Bachelors degree (Geology) and any two subjects among Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biological Science Physics. Also, the candidate must have passed 12th with Math as a mandatory subject. Form. Sc. In IITB Candidate must have passed graduation with both Mathematics and Physics for two years and at least one out of these two for three years. Form. Sc. Its good that you pursued a challenging course like PCMB. You may want to choose your UG based on the subject you recieved the highest marks in. Also BCA and BBA are also good courses that offer a promising career. So I suggest that you choose something that you are good at.

Yes of course. But first have to go through the websites of the desired colleges whether they are giving this or not. In almost every institute you can do M.Sc. Biotech after B.Sc. Microbiology.

Dear Smriti,
Most of the reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both.
