During the admission process, the authorities will release the BITSAT admit list and wait list online. The official BITSAT admit and wait list will be released as Iterations. BITSAT admit list will consist of the names of the candidates who have cleared the minimum cut off criteria for admission. On the other hand, the BITSAT wait list will consist of the names of all the candidates who will be called in for admission in the next round, in case a candidate withdraws his/her seat.

The authorities are yet to release the official number of seats offered for admissions through the BITSAT. However, there is estimated to be around 3,000 seats in the different campuses of BITS Pilani under BE course. The distribution seats are expected to be Birla Institute of Technology Pilani (1,040 seats), Birla Institute of Technology Hyderabad (1,080 seats) and Birla Institute of Technology Goa (850 seats). In case of any updates in the number of available seats for admission, the authorities will announce it online at the official website.

BITS Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses offer admissions based on BITSAT scores. There is no other examination that the candidates can appear for to get B.Tech admissions into the participating four campuses. It is essential for the candidates to register, attempt and qualify BITSAT if they wish to study under BITS. However, direct admissions are provided to the board exam toppers. These candidates should have ranked at the top of the board exams and should meet the minimum eligibility criteria specified by the authorities.
