Management quota is an option for you. The admission under management quota is processed in the office of the BMS Educational Trust. The Council of Trustees decide the tuition fee for various courses under management quota and seats are allotted by the Chief of the Admission Committee. The BMS Educational Trust advertises regarding the admission and the application forms are issued to the aspirants in the month of June / July of every year.

Both the colleges are excellent for mechanical engineering. NMIT has good placement assistance and project guidance from top most level. NMIT have many lecturers to handle one particular subject itself. So both the colleges are pretty well in academics.

The college has a reputation maintained for excellence in the course offered particularly for undergraduate courses. The placements are higher in almost every branch. For civil engineering branch, one can expect an average placement package of around Rs 4 Lacs considering the placement record in the year 2016. Firstly apart from the college, you have to decide in which course you have the interest. Selecting the course only on the basis of college is not good. Chitkara HP campus is very good. The academics and placements are good. Moreover, there is no pollution on this campus and the weather here is also good. Apart from academics the college provides exposure to students and organises many DJ nights for the student. It's a good college!

Join the college, which you want to take admission amongst the two without worrying about the branch, because branch can be shuffled after joining the college also. Many students use to change the branch after joining the college as per their field of interest.
