Yes, it can be considered easy to find part time jobs while studying. University itself offers on-campus student jobs and students with Federal Work Study awards are eligible to work off campus. Career Center also provides resources and advice to help students succeed. Additionally students can use Handshake which is a centralized employment platform.

Both New York University and Boston College are top-ranked universities in the USA for international studnets. Globally, Massachusetts Institute of Technology ranks 1st in the world while Boston College ranking is 601-650 in the world by QS World University ranking 2024. But, according to students reviews, BC has way more ACTIVE alumni IN BOSTON than MIT and in New England in general. Boston College offers solid biochemistry and chemistry programs and it was also good in computer vision at one point. These are the few points that makes a Boston College perfect choice than MIT in Boston.
