Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements for M.Sc chemistry in DU:
B.Sc. (Hons. ) Chemistry (3Years Course after 10+2) with 50% or above marks in aggregate both main and subsidiary (integrated) and 50% or above marks in Chemistry from Delhi University or any other University whose examination is recognised as equivalent to University of Delhi and fulfil other conditions of eligibility. or

You should go for Diploma in medical laboratory technology. The course is an allied health/paramedical course that is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through laboratory tests. This will help in both the purposes you mentioned.

After B.Sc (zoology, botany and chemistry) graduation you can go for higher studies, M.Sc in Zoology and Botany in order to compete NET of UGC for lectureship. You can also appear for council of scientific industrial research in order to get admission in research course with stipend.
