First of all, best of luck for your 12th exam. I hope you have prepared well for the examination. For admission in B.Sc in botany in Cotton College, they release the cut-off marks after the results declaration of your board exams. So, don't worry, give best in your exams.

BE food technology is available in department of chemical engineering, Panjab University. Admission is based purely on your JEE Mains score and ranking. You'll have to apply as per the notifications issued. Then merit lists will be prepared for various courses available by JAC (joint admission committee) including food technology. You can check PU, Chandigarh or JAC site for previous year cutoffs. Hope it helped.

Hey,
After BSc chemistry, you can search for jobs in chemical industries, pharmaceutical companies, industrial units, petrochemical companies, etc. However, if you do not find good opportunities, then I would suggest that you should pursue a Masters in chemistry. If you are interested in teaching, then also there is good scope in the education sector.

In civil services, you will have to take subject papers for IFS botany, zoology and biotechnology subjects are eligible. So, it does not matter in that case, in fact if are preparing side by side it will boost your preparation as subjectivity matters.

He is eligible for M.Sc Biotechnology in well reputed universities like Nirma University, VIT-Vellore, and SRM- Chennai, if he passed entrance exam which is organized by these universities. Although, he can also apply for IIT JAM because some IIT institutes offer biotechnology courses and M.Sc. Ph.D. integrated courses, for those students who have completed their Science graduation without Maths.

According to your score and percentage the colleges under DU will be perfectly fine. So you can try applying under DU to get admission.

There are many courses that you can do after your B.Sc. -You can do Masters in any of the subject and start preparing for NET/SLET and become a lecturer in any of the college in India. -If you do not want to do Masters then you can go for B.Ed course and become a teacher and start your career. -You can work for any cement company or any production company as a chemist. -You can also prepare for government. Exam like bank, SSC and start your career. -Higher exam preparation is also an option like IAS, IPS AND IFS. -You can do MBA and start your career as a manager in any of the field you wanted to get in.
