Hello Rehbar,
Definitely, to become an assistant professor, Ph.D. is mandatory (however, it will be effective from 2021). You can apply in IIT's and NIT's and in universities. You also can apply for research work in IIT colleges. After clearing the NET Exam, you will be able to teach in a private university but to become a government lecturer or an assistant professor's job, you have to complete your doctorate degree.

Hi, Yes, you can pursue M.Sc in environmental science, if you had environmental science as a subject in your graduation degree and then you can easily apply for it. Good luck.

Hi Akshay,
No, you can not go for two courses simultaneously. You can either go for botany zoology or microbiology. Although you can pursue double Honours by completing the first course and then enrolling yourself for next three years.

As you are in M.Sc in botany with elective paper plant pathology, so you can definitely apply for the school lecturer in agriculture post. Just apply for the same without any hesitation.
