It would vary from college to college. Some colleges take into consideration the entrance exam they carry out. However, yes, majority of the colleges decide on the basis of B.Sc score.

Not major differences are there. Just few topics may vary between the two colleges. As you have already completed your graduation in botany, so it will be helpful for you to pursue M.Sc. Botany in Mumbai.

Yes, you need to appear in MH-CET to get admission in M.Sc Botany courses in the various colleges in Mumbai. You should apply for the entrance. Best of luck.
