How to Get Admission in Master of Science [M.Sc] (Agriculture)
The admission to the program is based on performance in the Entrance Examination and the academic record of the student in graduation.
Some of the Entrance Exams for M.sc in Agriculture is as follows:
AGRICET: Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University conducts a Common Entrance Test for admission to M.sc in Agriculture. The application forms are available online from May/ June and the exam is held in July.
ICAR AIEEA: ICAR conducts an All India Entrance Examination for Agriculture. The application forms are available online in February and the exam is held in April.
MCAER PG CET: The Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education & Research holds a PG Common Entrance Test for various programmes, M.sc in Agriculture being one of them. The applications are available online in month of March and the examination is held in May.

BHU Post Graduate Entrance Test: Held by Banaras Hindu University in May every year, it is a university level entrance test to take admission for Post Graduate programs at BHU. This test asks questions from Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.
Joint Entrance Test: Conducted every year by the University of Rajasthan in June, Joint Entrance Test is an entrance examination for admissions to postgraduate courses. Its syllabus covers Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.
SVUCET: This entrance examination is held in June every year by Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test. This test covers questions from Zoology, Chemistry and Botany.
Selection Process:
Every institute follows a selection process of its own. Some of them take admissions on the basis of merit list. However, the others accept scores of entrance tests conducted by them.
