UPES Dehradun has only mentioned an online mode of application process for the BTech course. It is worth mentioning here that candidates cannot register to appear in any of the accepted entrance exams for BTech admission in offline mode.
Thus, candidates can assume that BTech admissions are only available in online mode at UPES Dehradun.

The last date to apply for BTech at UPES Dehradun is usually the same date as the UPESEAT registration deadline. In 2026, UPESEAT registrations have been extended till April 29th.
Thus, candidates can expect that the BTech admission deadline at UPES Dehradun will be scheduled either on or after the aforementioned date.

Yes, UPES Dehradun BTech admissions are open for the academic year 2026. Candidates who wish to apply for BTech courses can do so once they receive their results from one of the accepted entrance exams. Most entrance exams reveal their results by the month of February and May.

Generally, UPES Dehradun does not allow candidates to get direct admissions in the BTech courses. However, there are some exceptions where candidates can apply for UPES Dehradun BTech courses directly with their Class 12 board exam scores.
These exceptions have not been explained on the website thus, candidates should contact the admission desk to learn more about them.

Yes, students who want to take admission to BTech programme at Dayananda Sagar University have to appear in any of the exams among KCET, COMEDK, and JEE Main. Those students will be selected for the course who meet the cutoff marks of the particular exam they have given.

To get admission at Dayananda Sagar University BTech programme students need to meet the basic require of the course. Students must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with 45% marks with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects (40% for SC/ST/OBC). Eligible students are required to fill the application from of the course which is available online. The university accepts entrance exam for admission to BTech. It is necessary to appear in JEE Main/ KCET/COMEK exam and get valid marks.
