The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to BTech courses at CAU are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB/ PCMB/ PCM or Inter-Agriculture with English as a compulsory subject. Additionally, candidates must have secured an aggregate of 50%. To get B.Tech CSE at UPES Dehradun, you typically need at least 60% marks in both Class 10 and 12, with 60% or more in PCM. If applying through JEE Main, a percentile above 80–85 is generally safe for CSE. For board merit admission, higher marks in PCM (above 70%) improve your chances. Alternatively, you can appear for the UPES entrance test (UPESEAT), where a score around 550–600 out of 800 is usually needed for CSE.
