The selection process for the BTech course at Central Agricultural University includes meeting the eligibility criteria and a valid score in the entrance examination. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to BTech courses at CAU are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB/ PCMB/ PCM or Inter-Agriculture with English as a compulsory subject. Additionally, candidates must have secured an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the selection process, the university and its affiliated college accept the scores of entrance exams—ICAR CUET, followed by a counselling process.

Yes, Central Agricultural University does offer B.Tech courses for the duration of four years, divided into eight semesters, and offered in full-time mode. The university offers BTech courses through the campus and affiliated colleges in two different specialisations. The names of specialisations are BTech in Agricultural Engineering and BTech in Food Technology.

To get B.Tech CSE at UPES Dehradun, you typically need at least 60% marks in both Class 10 and 12, with 60% or more in PCM. If applying through JEE Main, a percentile above 80–85 is generally safe for CSE. For board merit admission, higher marks in PCM (above 70%) improve your chances. Alternatively, you can appear for the UPES entrance test (UPESEAT), where a score around 550–600 out of 800 is usually needed for CSE.
