Yes, IMU CET is compulsory to get admission into BTech courses at IMU Kochi. All six campuses of the Indian Maritime University (IMU) accept the scores of the IMU CET for admission to BTech. Thus, to get enrolled in this course, applicants are required to fill out the IMU CET application form and pay the application fee. Further, the university conducts a counselling process for admission confirmation.

No, direct admission is not available for BTech courses at IMU Kochi. To get admission, candidates must follow the whole admission procedure, which includes completion of eligibility criteria, appearing in the entrance exam, release of merit, document verification, seat confirmation, etc. Moreover, the provision of direct admission is not mentioned on the official website of the campus.
