You can, but you will have to perform extraordinarily in the CAT. You will need to score more than 99.8 percentile in CAT to get calls from old IIMs.

Hi Priyanka,
For admissions into any Symbiosis college, you just need to appear for SNAP and clear the respective cut-off. Any other exam scores does not matter and are not considered.

Looking at the past year's trend, the chances of getting a call from GIM at this CAT percentile seem to be low. Last year, the cut-off was 90 percentile, for CAT.

Hi Varun, that's a pretty decent score. For admission in PGDBM it will consider your GDPI performance as well as academics. There will be one written test , on the spot topic will be given. There will be one GD which will have topics related to current affairs, etc. In the end PI. Do well in GDPI then you can convert. The fees for two years is Rs 6 lakhs. All the best.

The selection depends on various parameters (academic and non academic). The CAT cut off is 85 percentile overall and 70 percentile sectional

Cut off for CAT 2015 was 80 for general candidates. The final selection of the candidates depends mainly on the GD/PI process. Therefore we suggest and encourage students to apply and perform well in GD/PI process. As you hve done B.Tech and your percentile is above 80, you can definitely apply for the course. The placements of 2015 batch went well with average package being 9.75 lpa.
