Hello, nidhi
well you can apply for the course and clear the case analysis and pi round overall performance would be measured that is your cat score+case.analysis + personal interview and selection would be done on overall score so perform well in all rounds and you'll have wise chances of getting selected. Xime is quite strict about the cutoffs. With this year the cutoff being 70%tile, basically you have not cleared the eligibility criteria. so I dont feel you will get a call.

Prepare well for CMAT. Good colleges require more percentile in CAT.

We cannot evaluate the profile, the short-list depends on various parameters (academic and non academic)

Yes you have a chance to get selected but the willingness to join for the people who are in merit list is also a factor.

I believe it would be difficult for you to get through but I suggest you may look for other options, if nothing there is always results of XAT. Wait for it and things may fall into place this year itself.

I have seen people with above 80 percentile in CAT from SC category make it to the IIMs but I am not sure about 60 percentile. Moreover, in engineering, percentile is on the higher side. You must apply to all the IIMs but chances are very slim. Sorry to disappoint but there is still a good chance of converting a call, if you prove yourself well in the interviews.
