You must have at least 60%marks, if you are from General or OBC category, and 55%, if belonging to SC, ST and PwD. You should check one of the IIT websites for HSEE notifications.

Eligibility criteria:
1. Candidate need to pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB) from any
Recognized Board in India or abroad.
2. Candidates, who are from non-Science streams, should have studied any of the following subjects at the +2 level: Mathematics, Computer Science or Electronics.

Students may pursue the 2 years long Diploma in Sound Engineering course. To pursue this course, a student must have completed 10+2 Schooling with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. In case of Admission process, some Institutes may even conduct their own entrance and Aptitude examinations. Regards.

You need to have English as a mandatory subject in your 12th. There are no marks declared. Admission is based on merit. So, higher the marks, the better it is.
