Hello Isha, For admission to undergraduate courses abroad, definitely will depend a great deal on your marks of 12th. But invariably these universities look for all round performance of student in different fields viz sports, cultural etc.

They may offer you scholarship as your CGPA is more than 9.

Hi Krishna, It will depend on the university, some will check your academic records from 10th, some won't. But for Masters, your 12th and B.Sc marks will be more important. If you have a good B.Sc percentage, you don't have to worry too much.

To qualify for an MS course in Canada, you have to appear for the GRE (Graduate Record Examination) which is a pre-requisite to gaining entry into an MS course abroad. Apart from that, you also may have to clear a language proficiency test required by many universities abroad or in Canada. If you have a strong UG degree, that will also help secure admission in a top MS course in Canada. In other words, your overall application must be strong, to secure admission in a top college in Canada. Your marks in 12th may also be taken into consideration, but most of the time it is not. Hi Isha, Undoubtedly Germany is the best but to study in Germany, you must have 13 years education that is one additional year of formal education after 12th. You can be eligible after clearing IIT JEE Advanced too. Also, you must know German language. Other good countries include USA, Singapore, Japan, etc. 1-year drop is alright if you use the period constructively, like by taking exams, doing voluntary work, doing a short course, learn a foreign language, etc.

You only need to know the right colleges to apply and their entrance criteria. Once you have completed your 12th from a recognised board of education, you can apply to various design exams. Most design colleges conduct a general aptitude test and creative ability test that determine a candidate's admission. The general ability test includes multiple choice questions related to mathematics, logical reasoning, English language and general awareness. Entry requirements for architecture courses abroad are mentioned below. You should be able to gauge what is required of you to gain entry into these courses abroad.

1) For a Bachelor's degree, you need to have completed year 12 of your studies, and for a Masters degree, a Bachelors degree in either architecture or related field will be required.
