Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements:
B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry (3 Years Course after 10+2) with 50% or above marks in aggregate both main and subsidiary (integrated) and 50% or above marks in Chemistry from Delhi University or any other university whose examination is recognized as equivalent to University of Delhi and fulfill other conditions of eligibility.
OR
B.Sc.(Gen)/B.Sc. (Pass) (3 Years course after 10+2) with 60% or above marks in aggregate and 60% or above marks in chemistry from Delhi University or any other university whose examination is recognized as equivalent to Delhi University and fulfill other conditions of eligibility.
NOTE:
1. A candidate who wishes to be admitted to M.Sc course in chemistry must have passed B.Sc (general) examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics subject or B.Sc (general) restricted courses with chemistry, combined mathematics and physics and any one of the following:
(I). Industrial Chemistry.
(ii). Environmental Science.
(iii). Agro-Chemicals and Pest Control,
(iv). Analytical Methods in Chemistry and Bio-Chemistry.
2. A candidate passing chemistry (honors) examination as the main subject must have been passed physics and mathematics as his/her subsidiary/ancillary subjects at the qualifying examination.

50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidates in the respective B.Sc (Honors) courses examination from University of Delhi (not through entrance test). They are, however, advised to make application for the admission through entrance test as well.

BCA Eligibility
Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.
Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board of education.
English as a subject of study.
A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level.
Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.
BCA Admission
For admission to BCA course, a student must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned above. Admission to regular BCA course is generally done through a common entrance test conducted by respective universities. IPU-CET, SET are a few entrance tests conducted by some top institutes for providing admission to the course.
Application process for BCA entrance test usually starts in the month of May and June. Students have to apply to respective institutes in both online as well as offline modes.
BCA Selection Process
The selection for admission to BCA is generally based on the performance in the written test. Certain universities like the Christ University, Bangalore, also conduct a personal interview for selection to the program. The final selection is based on the cumulative performance in written test, personal interview and qualifying examination.
