There will be a number of private universities where you can check for your bachelor's degree. Many universities will also have a defence quota. If you are not interested in full time degree you may check for distance or part time degrees.

Typically students pursue bachelor's degree after HSC. Many also pursue diploma programs. You may decide basis your education background/stream/subjects and interests.

You have to check NIOS or open schooling for the same. Universities will offer courses from bachelor degree onwards. For distance education after your 10+2 you may consider Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Yashwantrao C Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Dr. B R Ambedkar Open University, etc. Also check UGC website for a list of approved distance education universities in India.

You may compare the various programs and roles in the sectors you are interested in and decide accordingly. Talking about defence you have to decide if you want to join Indian Army or Indian Navy or Indian Air Force. You must also take the UPSC, SSC or CDSE. To pursue MBA you have to take your CAT/CMAT/XAT, etc. Career roles vary accordingly. You must know what you want and decide.

To take admission in Merchant Navy, you need to pass 12th in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) with 1 year pre-sea training as a deck cadet.
You can also join it directly after B.Tech in marine engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronics & telecommunication, naval architect.
If you pursue B.Sc (Nautical Science) in the officer cadre, it will lead you to become captain after 5-7 years of experience.
