80% is a good score for NUS. Since you are from CBSE, you need not take the SAT but check their website again. Admission will, overall, depend on your SOP, LOR, extracurriculars, etc.

Yours is quite a curious case. More than 90% in boards and less than 50% in JEE Mains. To avoid such wide disparities, from this year onwards marks of 12th will not be considered for AIR.

If you don't want to go for engineering field, then you can do pharmacy course. You can do B.Pharma.

Kindly check CBSE's main website because there may be few changes. As per my knowledge, if you have 6 subjects then best 5 will be considered for calculating your percentage.
