Take admission in PG diploma and start preparing for GATE. As in chemical engineering very less rush in GATE so you have a great chance to get IITs in next year. All the best

Chemical Has very limited Opening In terms of Jobs this Year And If you very Used to Software and have Good Logical Brain Then only go for Softwere Engineering. I would Prefer You to Go with Mechanical or Civil, Core branches have good Scope.
