Top NIT's like NIT-trichy, NIT-suratkal, NIT- warangal, BITS pilani, and institute of chemical Technology- mumbai are some of the best known non IIT institutes for chemical engineering in india. ICT-mumbai is rather best institute compared to NIT's in terms of research.

If you are interested in doing job right after your graduation, you should start appearing for the job interviews.
