CUET normalisation procss refers to a process of adjusting scores inbterms difficulty between different sessions of CUET exam. The normalization process does not reduce marks for students. It aims to adjust scores. CUET Normalization might involve scaling scores, adjusting grade, or applying techniques to make sure that difficulty level of the assessment doesn't disadvantage any particular group of students.

Applicants must aim for a high score to gain admission to central universities through CUET. For example, students who want to score 100th percentile in CUET should score between 188-200, while 99th percentile is equivalent to 789-800. Generally scores above 700 are acceptable only in top colleges in India based on previous year analysis. The CUET exam is the only selection criterion for central universities and the exam scores are decisive for securing a place in these prestigious educational institutions. Additionally, the CUET eligibility requirements require candidates to score a minimum of 50% qualifying marks in the class 12 exam

Being a self-governing institution, NIELIT Guwahati could have its own entrance requirements. I was unable to get any precise information on their acceptance of CUET scores, though.
For accurate and current information, it's recommended to visit the official website of NIELIT Guwahati or get in contact with them if you're interested in studying a programme there.
