If you wish to shift careers in education, a lateral entry BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) is the finest option. Many colleges offer these programmes, however as an alumnus of LPU, I'd like to highlight a few features of the B.Tech and BBA programmes at LPU. Following the Diploma programme, LPU provides B.Tech (Lateral) in CSE, Civil, EE, EEE, Biotechnology, ME, Aerospace, and other fields. For the present batch, the highest package available for the B.Tech is 40 LPA. LPU's Mittal School of Business has received accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs in the United States. For the BBA programme, the highest package available is Rs. 19.25 LPA. In many of its disciplines, LPU has been ranked among the best in India by the NIRF rating 2021. My relative received his B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from LPU and was hired by a multinational corporation. He said the following about LPU's civil engineering programme:
1. The majority of the faculty members come from reputable organisations and hold advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as IITs and NITs. Aside from that, faculty members have worked in the industry before.
2. The capstone project is a requirement of the B.Tech degree, and students must choose a real project based on a practical problem-based scenario (preferably from industry), work on it for six months under the supervision of a mentor, and deliver a report at the conclusion.
3. There is an internship programme that may provide you with job experience and boost your chances of finding work after graduation. However, in order to qualify for this placement choice, your academic record must be excellent.
