In Lovely professional university a student can apply for admission based on clearing the eligibility criteria. For admission in B.Tech. Lateral entry programme a student should have passed with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) [3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical)] or Diploma in Architectural Assistantship or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent. Also, LPU has already relaxed their eligibility norms due to Covid-19 scenario. For majority of the programmes, LPU NEST serves the scholarship purpose. B.Tech lateral entry is also one of those.
