IIT Roorkee cutoff trend for B.Tech has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 6853. In 2023, it increased to 7100. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 2811 to 3026 for OBC, 1378 to 1626 for SC, 375 to 422 for ST, 1198 to 1229 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
