It is very nice to see that you are intending to do your Diploma course after completion of your ITI. Yes, this is perfectly feasible and possible. In fact, many students go for this. Just for your information, the eligibility conditions for Diploma course is class 10th, and so it is for ITI also. So, there are no issues by which you can be prevented from taking up the Diploma studies which you want to do.
Best wishes to you.

Hello Madhur,
Whether you want to study civil, mechanical, electrical or any other branch of engineering, a student has to appear for same entrance exam. The syllabus normally is similar to that of 12th standard. Hence, do not worry. You don't have to prepare for all streams, but only of class 12th. That's all. Best wishes to you.

Hello Komal,
Yes, of course you can think of that. However, there are some more nuances to the whole process. Universities abroad accept students not only based on academics, but quite broad range of requirements. I would like to advise you that please approach an agency dealing with sending students abroad for MS. They will have knowledge of all these pitfalls and will take care of your behalf. Best wishes to you.

Hello Harish,
It's very nice to know that you are thinking already of What to do after completion of your engineering degree. First and foremost concentrate on learning the subjects for the sake of learning and not for the sake of getting marks. This will go a long way in your career progression in future. The first one is go for PG in the subject that has fascinated you in your graduation studies alternatively you can go for MBA. Almost equally these two routes are divided between the students. Best course to study depends on the individual, the student's personal interest and career goals. What do you want to study and what kind of job do you want to do? Ask yourself. Civil Engineering is vast. You may opt for a specialised Masters. If you have any specific country in mind then check their immigration websites for job scope. Many B.Tech student also go for MBA after gaining some work experience. Nowadays MS in Engineering Management is also popular which combines technical and managerial skills.

Hello Rahul,I can understand your angst and apprehension of joining a degree course after completion of your Diploma. However lateral admissions to directly 2nd year of engineering course is possible for Diploma holders. But there is no such possibility for joining in any other discipline of graduation. Your Diploma would be considered equivalent to class 12th and you would be asked to join the first year of B.Com. Best wishes to you.

The total number of seats available for the course is 120. I would recommend you to check for the same information on the university website or get in touch with the college officials for the same. They will be able to tell you how many seats are vacant for the course.
