Yes, of course you can think of that. However, there are some more nuances to the whole process. Universities abroad accept students not only based on academics, but quite broad range of requirements. I would like to advise you that please approach an agency dealing with sending students abroad for MS. They will have knowledge of all these pitfalls and will take care of your behalf. It's very nice to know that you are thinking already of What to do after completion of your engineering degree. First and foremost concentrate on learning the subjects for the sake of learning and not for the sake of getting marks. This will go a long way in your career progression in future. After completion of graduation what to do is real dilemma for any student. There are two options which are normally chosen. The first one is go for PG in the subject that has fascinated you in your graduation studies alternatively you can go for MBA. Almost equally these two routes are divided between the students. There are many Scholarship Exam and do you want to study abroad? If yes, then you must check the university websites, because in most cases the scholarship are provided by the universities on merit basis.

Best course to study depends on the individual, the student's personal interest and career goals. What do you want to study and what kind of job do you want to do? Ask yourself. Civil Engineering is vast. You may opt for a specialised Masters. If you have any specific country in mind then check their immigration websites for job scope. Many B.Tech student also go for MBA after gaining some work experience. Nowadays MS in Engineering Management is also popular which combines technical and managerial skills.

Hello Rahul,I can understand your angst and apprehension of joining a degree course after completion of your Diploma. However lateral admissions to directly 2nd year of engineering course is possible for Diploma holders. But there is no such possibility for joining in any other discipline of graduation. Your Diploma would be considered equivalent to class 12th and you would be asked to join the first year of B.Com. Best wishes to you.

The total number of seats available for the course is 120. I would recommend you to check for the same information on the university website or get in touch with the college officials for the same. They will be able to tell you how many seats are vacant for the course.

I can appreciate your enthusiasm and sincerity in looking for architectural field after your BE in civil engineering, but I am afraid admissions to M Arch are only on the basis of Bachelor of architecture and even while doing Bachelor of architecture one needs to pass in exam called NATA, which I am sure you would not have attempted because you were doing only BE. This being the case I am really unable to help you in giving the link for any institute which will accept your candidature for M Arch after doing BE civil. However, best wishes to your future career.
