As you are seeing for post Diploma, colleges will be better as compared to universities. Colleges are more technical, while universities have more theory part, as colleges are technical. Job prospects are more as compared to universities. There are many good SPP colleges in Canada. As advantages of colleges are, they have low tuition fees as compared to universities.

Civil engineering is perhaps the oldest branch of engineering. Obviously, it has spawned many sub branches. Some have by now become full-fledged branches in themselves, while some others can be studied only at the post-graduation level. Having a low GPA is an issue, but try to cope up your GPA by end of 3rd year. Sit for placements. Else, you can directly go for a Master's degree in either field you choose as there is a lot of scope in Master's degree.

Yes, you are eligible to study B.Arch, you will have to write NATA exam and score well to get admission into a good college.

Math is everywhere, so choose what you like most, if you like civil engineering, then take it.

It totally depends upon your interest. Data analytics is surely the trending course, but then if you don't have interest in data analytics or you are not comfortable with number crunching, doing a course in same would not help. MBA on the other hand focuses on management and thus requires a different skill set.

Thinking about study after 7 years of gap is really appreciable and big decision. I am suggesting here to do B.Tech lateral entry course (Regular) in civil engineering from reputed college. This will definitely open new opportunities for you like IES GATE and Private sectors. Best of Luck.

It is difficult to get into Sastra University, unless you score 900 and above. But, if luck goes your way, then you will get it.

Can you spare time of two years to go to college? I suppose the best way would be to do the same thing by correspondence course. In this way you can study at your convenient time and method without compromising on your routine activities. Yes, it's compulsory. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the main subjects with minimum 60% marks. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of JEE score.
