Engineering courses whether B.Tech Mechanical or B.Tech Civil Engineering or other ones, must be approved by AICTE, respective state government and preferably affiliated with state government universities. I advise you not to opt for any private universities since they are not under AICTE & engineering courses are not approved by AICTE. It's very nice to see your enthusiasm for studying abroad at the level of PG. But no University guarantee's placements after completing the course. In addition there are many nuances in process of applying for studying abroad. I would therefore like to advise you to approach an agency dealing with sending students abroad.

There is a state-level entrance examination for lateral entry which will give you the colleges according to your rank in the respective states. Like LEET, PTU LEET, LPU NEAT Calicut University Lateral Entry.

Hope you are doing well. As you concern about the branch you can get in the MBM Jodhpur. So, all the branches are good. But you should go according to interest. If the field doesn't matter then go for electrical engineering through which you can get an opportunity for getting a job in private and government sectors as well.
