$F_{2} = \frac{G M m}{9 R^{2}} - \frac{G \frac{M}{8} m}{{(\frac{5 R}{2})}^{2}} = \frac{G M m}{R^{2}} (\frac{1}{9} - \frac{1}{50})$

$\frac{1}{2} m v_{i}^{2} - \frac{G m m}{R} = 0 - \frac{G m m}{11 R}$

$v_{i}^{2} = \frac{20}{11} \frac{G m}{R}$
