The main difference between CLAT and CULET is that CLAT is a national-level law entrance exam that is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs for admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses. The exam is conducted for admission to 24 NLUs for UG courses and 21 NLUs for PG courses, while AILET or CULET is conducted for admission to NLU Delhi only. 

NLU Delhi does not accept CLAT scores, it only accepts AILET or CULET scores.

IILET is a standardized test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admissions IIL. As per last three-year cutoff for BA LLB (Hons) for General Category Home State Quota, the cutoff saw a fluctuating trend. The closing rank in 2022 was 3726 decreasing to 4339 in 2023. In 2024, the cutoff was again improved at 4257.

For LLM, the cutoff was 2213 in 2022 moving downwards to 4031 in 2023 and then finally 3587 in 2024. Looking at the cutoff data, aspirants with state domicile have a chance of getting admission with 3000 rank in CLAT.
