Hello Akash, the process of admission directly into the second year of four year degree course of engineering after completion of diploma for BSc is centralized in the state of Maharashtra. For getting admission to the college of engineering Pune you need to register yourself on the site of the directorate of technical education of the government of Maharashtra. of course the admissions are based on the marks obtained in the Diploma but this is centrally done.

Hello Vishal, admissions in college of engineering Pune are given based on the performance in the entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra government called MHT CET. For XII class, you need only obtain minimum passing score and admission is actually not based on marks obtained in this examination. Few seats are reserved for what is called as all India quota, which are filled up based on JEE Mains examination. Cutoff for both these entrance exams changes from year to year and hence it is of no relevance to know it now. There are two ways for getting B.Tech admission in COEP Pune. The first one is MHT CET and JEE Main is another one. The major admission in B.E. Courses in COEP are based on MHT CET conducted by State common entrance cell Maharashtra. As per the eligibility criteria, candidate has passed 12th with PCM with minimum 50% of marks if subjects taken together for general category. Hello, College of engineering Pune or c o e p is a very well-known establishment in the state of Maharashtra and has a good name in the teaching and the student community. As a result of this, the cut off are invariably very high for getting admission in this college. This is true for the first year of engineering and equally valid for lateral admission directly into the second year also. You need to be in the percentile above 95 to think of getting lateral admission directly into the second year in this college. Unfortunately the actual cutoff is not available. Best wishes to you.
