well.As far I know, GIBS Bangalore is actually considered a well-recognised private B-school in Bangalore, especially among the newer generation institutes. It has been consistently ranked in national surveys and has also received multiple recognitions over the years.
- In IIRF 2025, GIBS is ranked around 49th in India for MBA colleges.
- In Times 2025, it is around 71st in India for management colleges.

The admission process at GIBS Bangalore (Global Institute of Business Studies) doesn't work like a single “fixed last date for everyone” kind of thing—it's more of a rolling admission system with multiple cycles, so deadlines keep shifting depending on the intake and availability of seats.
Right now, GIBS is still accepting applications, but the final admission cycle deadline is around mid-June 2026.
If you are planning for PGDM/MBA or BBA at GIBS, you still have time till mid-June 2026, but seats are filling in phases
Earlier you apply, better your chances for GD-PI call, scholarship consideration, and preferred specializatio

Honestly, when I joined, I thought every B-school would probably be similar — classes, exams, placements, done. But after spending time there, what I personally felt was different was that there was always something happening apart from academics.
What I personally noticed:
- It never felt like only classes and assignments every day
- Presentations, projects, activities, and events happened regularly
- Internship and placement preparation started alongside academics
- Students got opportunities to participate in workshops and industry sessions
- Affordable compared to many expensive B-schools students usually compare with
- Good balance between academi

As a student, what I personally felt was that the main focus was not only academics. It felt more like helping students become ready for jobs and real work life.
What I felt during my time there:
Focus on learning things beyond textbooks
Lots of presentations, projects, and activities
Encouragement to participate and build confidence
Exposure through internships, workshops, and events
Helping students become more prepared for placements and careers
For me, the overall feeling was simple — study, learn new things, build confidence, and leave college with better skills than when you joined.

Enchainer 2K26 felt less like a college fest and more like one full day of competitions, music, food, networking, chaos, and nonstop energy with 500+ participants together. Had lots of fun

Honestly, one thing I noticed during my time there was that if you actually went and asked doubts, people were generally approachable. I feel this matters because during PGDM/MBA, doubts are not only about subjects, sometimes it is internships, placements, projects, presentations, and career confusion too.
From what I experienced:
- You could ask doubts outside class instead of waiting for the next lecture
- Faculty usually guided during projects and presentations too
- Career discussions happened beyond academics sometimes
- During internships and placements, many students used to ask for suggestions and guidance
- Since projects and activities

Honestly, I had the same doubt before joining, because I was thinking MBA/PGDM means only people who talk a lot, do marketing, and are super confident from day one. But after joining, I realized many people were actually quiet in the beginning.
What helped most people gradually was:
Presentations happening regularly, so after some point speaking feels normal
Group projects because you automatically start interacting with people
Mock interviews and placement activities before actual placements
Workshops and activities where you participate little by little
Internships and practical work that build confidence over time
Different roles and domai
