For engineering placements, LPU looks like the stronger option when the main focus is industry exposure and career opportunities. Its engineering curriculum includes industry interface, practical projects, certifications, workshops and placement-focused pathways. The latest official placement report also shows 4,500+ full-time or PPO offers for the 2025-26 batch. Still, placement depends a lot on branch, skills, internships and individual performance, so these factors should be checked before making a final comparison.

No, work experience is not required for PGDM admission at GIBS Bangalore. Freshers can apply as well.

I completed my PGDM at GIBS, and there were plenty of freshers in my batch. You don't need to have corporate experience before joining. The course itself gives you opportunities through internships, projects, workshops, industry sessions and placement preparation.

So if you've just completed graduation and want to go for PGDM, you can apply to GIBS Bangalore directly. Work experience can be an added advantage, but it isn't a must.

Yes, I'd say GIBS Bangalore is a good option for both BBA and PGDM when you look at ROI, placements and the overall exposure.

For BBA, students get internships, projects, industry visits, workshops and placement preparation. It gives you a good start and helps you build skills before entering the job market.

For PGDM, the exposure is more career-focused, with specialisations, internships, live projects, industry interactions and placement training.

I completed my PGDM at GIBS, got an internship during the course and later got placed in an MNC with around ₹9 LPA. That experience made the investment feel worthwhile for me.

So whether you'r

I did my PGDM at GIBS Bangalore, and we had the option to go for dual specialisation. The main areas were Marketing, Finance, HR, Business Analytics, Operations and International Business.

I chose my specialisations based on what I was interested in, and there were also different electives to explore other areas.

Apart from the subjects, we had internships, live projects, workshops and industry sessions, which made the course more practical.

For me, the best part was having the flexibility to explore more than one area instead of being restricted to a single specialisation.
