Hey, as a student checking out B.Tech options, both LPU and MSRIT are solid picks with good reps. MSRIT shines in Bangalore's tech scene with strong local ties, but LPU edges ahead for me with its massive campus and global vibe.
LPU's B.Tech is a 4-year programme across tons of specializations like CSE, IT, and AI tie-ups with IBM—super practical for jobs today. Official site shows updated curriculum with projects, labs, and scholarships up to 50% based on LPUNEST or 12th marks, making it easier on the wallet.
Placements at LPU are huge, with top firms visiting their high-tech setup, and they've ranked well in NIRF too. MSRIT's g

If you belong to the General AI quota, yes 29000 in KCET is considered to be a good rank for BTech admission at CMR University. In 2025, the closing ranks ranged between 36709 and 55398 in General category, therefore candidates with a lower cutoff rank of 29000 are more likely to secure a seat at CMR University for BTech course. However, final admission also depends on minimum eligibility, seat availability in a particular round, etc.

Hi.
Recent placement data shows MCA students at RVCE have been getting job offers: for 2025–2024 batches, there were offers and placements recorded.
Typical / recent figures: the highest package for MCA placements ~ ₹ 20 LPA, average/median ~ ₹ 8.94–9.5 LPA.
The number of recruiters visiting for MCA is non-trivial (e.g. some years ~ 35 companies) which suggests there are opportunities.
As per alumni reports on Reddit (or other student forums), some graduates say they got good roles — e.g. one former MCA student said they got placed as Data Analyst and later moved into Data Engineering.
The college seems to have a

Some older sources list it as ₹ 5.10 lakhs over three years.

Hi.
According to the latest “Mandatory Disclosure” for 2024-25, GIBS reports a permanent-faculty : student ratio of 1:16.
Many publicly available descriptions of GIBS say the student-faculty ratio is ~ 15:1.
Some external sources (like third-party rating / review sites) have cited slightly different ratios or past estimates (e.g. 17:1) but the institution's own disclosures are the most reliable.
So in short — GIBS generally maintains a ratio where there is about 1 faculty member for every ~15–16 students.
