Based in Toronto, Ontario, the University of Toronto is ranked the #1 university in Canada by Shiksha, in its the latest rankings of top Canadian institutions.
U of T, as its often called, also secures a rank of #25 as part of the latest World University Rankings given by a popular university ranking publication for the year 2025.
The same source also gives its MBA program, a global rank of #39, while on the country-level, the programme ranks #1 in Canada, as per Shiksha Rankings.

The University of Saskatchewan has an acceptance rate of 73%, suggesting the insititute is somewhat selective at granting admissions to its students. McMaster University acceptance rate stands at 59%. Thus it can be said that McMaster University is relatively tougher to secure admissions at than Saskatchewan.
