The University of Northern British Columbia has implemented an online Housing application and monitoing process. It allows international students to apply for accommodation at UNBC online through the comfort of their home. However, before applying for an accommodation at UNBC, international students must meet the below given conditions. 

• You must be at least 17 years old by the end of your first semester living in UNBC Housing
• To be eligible for Housing you must be registered in a minimum of 1 UNBC course for each semester you live in Residence
• All students under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian sign the Residence Contract
• The Residence Room Deposit (CAD 275/INR 16,794) and the non-refundable Application Fee (CAD 26.50/INR 1,618) is required to complete your application
• Only complete, paid, and submitted applications will be processed
• After you submit your application the university will send you a Housing Offer. You must log back into the portal and accept your Housing Offer to secure your place in Residence
• All UNBC buildings are non-smoking (including Vaporizers, E-Cigarettes, and Cannabis)

Carleton University accepts country-specific qualifications for admissions, from overseas applicants. Indian candidates who wish to pursue their higher studies from the university, must meet the Carleton University admission requirements for Indian students listed below:

Bachelor's Degree Requirements:

ONE of the following higher school certificates:

• All India School Certificate (CBSE); or
• Indian School Certificate (CISCE); or
• One of the state board certificates.

Master’s Degree Requirements:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree equivalent
• First-class division (65 – 74%, 6.50 – 7.99 - CGPA)

Doctoral Degree Eequirements

• Master’s / graduate degree equivalent: Master’s, M.Phil, M.Law
