No, the tier 1 Indian universities like IIT/NIT and DU do not explicitly give any advantage in the academic evaluation at the HU Berlin. Look at the pointers given below -
- This university operates on a highly standardized and egalitarian evaluation system.
- So, your chances of admission are actually based on the individual curriculum and grades and not on whether your previous degree is from a tier 1 university.

No, HU Berlin, being one of the best universities in the world, does not offer a traditional MBA.
It actually offers a highly academic and research-oriented Master of Science (MSc) in areas like -
- Economics & Management Science
- Business Administration
If an Indian student wants to go for a traditional MBA at HU Berlin, the closest alternative is the MSc in Business Administration (it is very academic).

HU Berlin uses a mix of both systems. It acts by using the eligibility-based model for its NC free programs while being really selective in admissions for some its high-demand and limited-seat programs.
HU Berlin is one of the most selective universities in the world, as indicated by its acceptance rate, standing at just 18%.

LMU Munich does not serve Indian food regularly at its campus. However, several Asian/Veg cuisines are available on weekly menus. For Indian food, students will likely have to cook their own or look for Indian restaurants in Munich.
There is no shortage of Indian restaurants near LMU Germany. The Indian Room Munich, Indian Love Story Restaurant, and Tikka and Talk are some popular ones. These serve delicious Indian food for EUR 20 to EUR 30 (INR 2.2 K to INR 3.3 K) per meal.
