More than 54,000 students are there at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. There are 4 different sites of LMU Munich, that are spread across the city center and Munich's outskirts. The main campus of LMU Munich is in the City Center. Here, most of the Social Sciences and Humanities buildings, central services like LMU Gateway, the Main library, and the International Office are there.

As per a news report, LMU Munich is becoming very famous with international students. The total percentage of international students has increased from 21% - 22%. At present, 6,300+ international students have been enrolled.

Rooms in single and shared apartments can cost between Euros 450 - 900. Whereas, in student housing can cost around Euros 300 - 450. Also, students should expect to have a spending of EUR 1,500 per month.

There is no tuition fee at FU Berlin. But, the fee may be applicable to some Continuing Education programs. For these programs, the fees can be around INR 10 lakh. Also, students have to pay the living expenses. Students can expect to spend a minimum of EUR 934. The monthly housing rent can be between EUR 650 - EUR 1000.

TUM didn't use to charge international students from third world countries however since the winter semester of 2024-25 it has started charging as per field of study based on the Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act (BayHIG). The UG sem fees for TUM will usually be EUR 2000- EUR 3000 (INR 2.1-3.1L) and EUR 4000- EUR 6000 (INR 4.2-6.3L) euros for PG

The Deutschlandstipendium scholarship allows students of FU Berlin receive a grant of Euros 300 per month. Half of the sum is offered by the Federal Government and other half is donated by a private sponsor. To get this scholarship, students must have enrolled at FU Berlin or have a letter of acceptance to start a degree course. This scholarship is offered for the winter semester.

FU Berlin can apply for DAAD scholarships. The award value of these scholarships is EUR 250 per month. The scholarships are funded by STIBET. International students who have obtained their education abroad, are not current German citizens, have been enrolled at FU Berlin can get DAAD scholarships. Students have submit an online application form to receive these scholarships. Some of the documents that are required for these scholarships are study certificates, passport, previous year's transcripts, etc.
