The placements at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) in 2023 were good, with an average package of INR 4.6 LPA for BTech students and INR 4.01 LPA for MTech students. The highest package offered was INR 12 LPA.

Central University of Jammu accepts the following entrance exams for MBA admission:
1- Central University Entrance Test (CUET) PG exam score
2- Common Admission Test (CAT)
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in their Bachelor's degree. Candidates who are in their final year of Bachelor's degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit their final year mark sheet before the deadline.

The University has released the combined statistics for UG (4 years) courses. As per the NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BTech/ BPharma students during University of Kashmir placements 2022 was NR 6 LPA. In 2021, the median package was the same, i.e. INR 6 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2020 placements was INR 5 LPA.

The application form can be downloaded from the university website (kashmiruniversity.net). Aspirants can also apply online for B.Ed at Kashmir University. Candidates need to pay INR 400 for B.Ed and INR 500 for the entrance exam.

It is one of the top universities among the others in the area. As per the university NIRF 2022 report, 491 students were placed in 2021 placements drive. Further, the median package offered to the UG (4-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 6 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, etc.

Kashmir University conducts KUET for admission to UG and PG courses. The university also accepts scores in national-level entrance exam for some courses. Check below the entrance test accepted by the university:
- For admission in MBA/MBA (Financial Management)/ MCME/MTTM programme, the university accepts CMAT scores
- For BTech admissions, the university accepts JEE (Main) (Paper I) scores
- For admission in IMBA (BBA-MBA) course, the university accepts UGAT scores
- For MPharm course admissions, the university accepts GPAT scores
