The M.Tech 2025 course specialisation, which was the most competitive for this category, was M.Tech in Communication and Signal Processing, with a cutoff of 432 in round 3, which was the last round for this specialisation. Therefore, a score above 360 would be needed for this year to get into NIT Sikkim.
Other categories will have a different qualifying score depending on the specialisation, round and category. The OBC AI quota candidates would need to attain a score between 327 and 377, wherein the most competitive specialisation for this category was M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. NIT Sikkim placements 2025 are still ongoing. The highest package offered in 2025 is INR 44 LPA. As per the reports, the average package has not been released.
