Admission criteria for Integrated M.Tech programs at VIT Vellore may vary from year to year, and it's best to refer to the official website or contact the admissions department for the most accurate and up-to-date information. However, I can provide some general insights. VIT Vellore offers Integrated M.Tech programs in various specializations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and many more. These programs typically span five years and integrate undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Regarding your specific query, securing a PCM aggregate of 96% is

Deciding on placement opportunities in a specific programme at a university can depend on various factors, including your academic performance, relevant skills, and the specific requirements and policies of the university and its placement cell. While it is not possible for me to provide a definitive answer regarding your placement at VIT Vellore's Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, I can offer some general insights. Transitioning from a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering to an M.Tech in Computer Science can be a significant shift, as the two fields are distinct. However, with a strong passion for computer Science and a w

The minimum rank required for Integrated M.Tech in any branch at VIT Vellore campus is not fixed and varies every year based on the number of applicants and their scores. However, according to a few sources, a rank of around 3471 or 6722 may be required to get an Integrated M.Tech seat in VIT Vellore campus under category 1 in software engineering. The combined marks in all of the topics taken in a +2 (or its equivalent) should be 55 percent in PCM.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The admission criteria for BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) can vary between colleges and universities. While 85% is generally considered a good percentage, the specific cutoff required for admission can depend on factors such as the reputation and popularity of the college, the number of available seats, and the overall competition among applicants.
To determine if 85% is enough to secure a BCA seat, you need to check the admission requirements and cutoffs of the specific colleges or universities you are interested in. The cutoffs can vary significantly between institutions, and some may have higher or lower cutoff percentages b

On my personal experience I would once again suggest Computer Science core or with specializations receive the first royal treatment in terms of difficulty and placements. They are the ones looting the highest package every year. This year two students from Computer Science Core grabbed a whooping offer of Rs. 1.02cr LPA. I would rank the best courses in VIT as follows
1) Computer Science and engineering core
2) M.Tech integrated software engineering
3) All CS specialisations (AI, Robots, CPS, data Science)
4) Electronics and Computer Engineering
5) Electronics and Communication Engineering
6) Electronics and Electrical Engineering
7) Mechatr

Freshers are definitely having hopes and dreams of this college. Few tips that I would like to share for any fresher entering.
1) Form a group of friends within the first week else you will be left out later. SEE the people who match you taste and get social.
2) Make sure you utilise everything that VIT has to offer, like the gym, games, courts and events.
3) Add atleast two people of the cross gender to your group, will be useful in academics and a good campus life.
4) Make sure you study from day 1, as such is the competition and grading system. Tendency of having a backlog in any subject is quite common. So grind well.
5) Make sure
