There has been no fixed percentage as such over the years. This is a parameter that varies from year to year and is based on the rank/ scores of the VITEEE.

Candidates securing a rank between 7500- 27500 will be eligible for admissions in Vellore campus. The closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering (with Bioinformatics as specialization) went up till 7500 while for Computer Science and Engineering, it went up till 15000.

NMIMS records the highest average Salary of 14LPA from above mentioned colleges and is ranked Superior to Symbiosis. Symbiosis Pune on the other hand records around 11lpa as average Salary and is ranked in top25 list. Christ is Decent University, but should be last priority since the average Package is mediocre at 6-7LPA.

On the basis of Institutes profile, rankings and Placements statistics, the priority order is given below.

4. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi.

An aggregate of 70% or more in XII Std. considered eligible

Admission to the B.Tech. Degree programme in VIT depends entirely on your score in the VITEEE. In case you are looking at non-engineering programmes, Yes. If you have an aggregate of 90%, you do stand fair chances of being selected through counselling.

The VITEEE level will be on par with other entrance exams for undergraduate programmes. Your choice of branch will depend on your score in the VITEEE.
